Bologne XO
Highly praised as a smooth, complex agricole with woody, roasted, fruity and cocoa notes. Elegant, well-balanced and rewarding, even if some would enjoy a few extra degrees for more impact.
Curious explorers who enjoy smooth, wood-driven agricoles with roasted, cocoa and dried-fruit notes, and whisky drinkers looking for an elegant, column-distilled crossover at moderate strength.

How does this rum taste?
Smooth, complex Guadeloupe agricole
If you enjoy elegant, wood-led agricoles like aged Clement or Karukera, this is a great next bottle—same refined style, with extra roasted and cocoa depth at easygoing strength.
Those wanting big proof, very grassy funk, or an ultra-intense, in-your-face agricole profile; also not ideal for drinkers who prefer very sweet, dessert-style rums.

A great Rhum that’s very smooth and elegant on the palate and during the finish. The only negative is that the nose is a little weak. The nose is spicy and woody with aromas of sugarcane. At the palate and during the rather long finish it’s also spicy and woody but also floral, complex and very smooth with flavors of dried fruit.
This is a really nice and very complex rum and I'm happy having it on my shelf. The nose is sweet (honey) and a bit alcoholic with spices and orange topped with cocoa/chocolate and wood. The palate is well balanced and complex, fruity with spices and oak. There is a slight floral not there as well. The finish is long and fruity with vanilla and oak.
Wahnsinnig komplexer Rum, der mich ein bisschen an Whisky erinnert. Nichts für den Alltag.
Sehr lecker! Ich mag das schwere und röstige Profil sehr. Die Trinkstärke steht ihm gut.
