"Unfortunately, this rum is not my cup of tea. It's somehow too dry and fizzy for me. Boring."
"Brings a relatively high level of sweetness and vanilla notes. Otherwise a typical bourbon note. Unfortunately, I'm not convinced at all, even if the rum is basically ok. Overall, not my cup of tea and simply boring"
"#4673 22.03.2024 Tasting arranged by Romdeluxe and presented by Parminder S. Bhatia one of the owners of 1423. Nose Fresh, light roasted wood, fruity, citrus, light grass, faint glue. Palate Fresh, medium dry, light roasted wood, fruits, citrus, spicy, light caramel. Finish Medium long, wood, roasted, medium dry, fruits, light caramel."
"From the first nosing, you can tell this rum will be on the sweeter side (even though there is no sugar added, off course). I get loads of vanilla, caramel, chocolate accompanied by light fruity sourness and wood. Wood gets more pronounced with time spent in glass. The taste is sweet, chocolate and caramel gets its spotlight, which are supported by bourbon vanilla. To be honest, and this is just my personal preference, I'd prefer to taste less of these bourbon notes. Overall, I can say this is a pretty solid rum worth adding to your collection. 👍"
