How does this rum taste?
RumX members love its fresh, fruity sugarcane nose with tropical hints of mango and citrus. On the palate, the profile turns drier and vegetal with lemon peel, light licorice and a mineral, slightly earthy edge; finishes short to medium with floral touches. Distilled in 2023 at La Favorite and bottled at 52% as an unaged, limited release of 7800 bottles. With 10 community reviews, interest is growing.

EDIT : Masterclass hier soir à Lille. Plus sympa que dans mon souvenir, mais le côté racines un peu terreux en fin de bouche n'est pas trop à mon gout. Je reste sur mon Bel'air en favori :) Notes prises lors du Rhum Fest 2024, Notes rapides et palais un peu lourd, désolé :) On a ici : sur le menthol, la canne fraiche, une pointe de réglisse Un rhum : agricole mais assez atypique je dirai Finale : bonne (dans ma mémoire) A re-gouter, j'ai vraiment préféré au 2021 !
Au nez, nous avons une canne fruitée sur les agrumes. En bouche, la canne se fait plus végétale et terreuse. On reste sur les mêmes notes pour un final moyen. C'est bon, mais sûrement pas le meilleur blanc de la Favorite
C est le seul millésime de la digue que j ai goûté. Au nez c est vraiment agréable avec le bon parfum de canne ! En bouche on perd cette gourmandise . C est plus sec sur des notes herbacées et réglisse, du minéral et un peu de terreux. Finale courte/moyenne. Je préfère le bel air.
Première dégustation de rhum La Favorite, très bonne surprise. Un rhum frais, à l'odeur très fruité. En bouche les arômes de fruits exotiques et de canne à sucre se révèlent et sont bien marqués. Je le recommande
