How does this rum taste?
Most reviewers appreciate this rum as a top pick for discovering agricole styles—its approachable nature and genuine Martinique character come through in every pour. You'll notice vanilla, caramel, and woody notes, with many finding dried fruit and a peppery finish. It's enjoyed neat and often recommended as an introduction to French-style rums. A favorite for its balance, value, and layered yet mellow flavors.

Just like the XO it’s more or less a perfect entry to a tour in the Agricole world. Tasted this one at a rum cruise when it was included at Ian Burrell’s “Blindtaste” Master class. It was quite easy to get it right, cause it was the only Agricole included. The picture shows the included rums at the blindtaste.
