How does this rum taste?
Rum Artesanal Guyana Rum, aged for 16 years, offers a distinctive profile marked by woody and spicy tones with pronounced pencil shavings and anise notes. Distilled using a Double Wooden Pot Still, it presents a dry and spicy taste with subtle fruit undertones. While some users appreciate its elegant yet youthful complexity, others note its somewhat harsh and astringent finish. This rum's unique dual character, characteristic of the Port Mourant style, may not appeal to everyone but offers an intriguing experience for enthusiasts of robust, wood-forward rums. Bottled by Heinz Eggert GmbH, this rum represents a classic Guyanese style.

Nice young PM. Yellow fruits and a surprising sweetness. Still a bit stingy on the palate.
