Degusté au Spirits Days à Tournai, notes rapides : Bref : un peu dérouté, je l'ai trouvé un peu plat, il faut que j'y revienne avec le palais neuf. Edit : après dégustation et présentation au Brussel Rhum Festival : > Fruits tropicaux, vs vanille coco > mangue passion, vanille coco, bien structuré et soutenu par un bon boisé Un peu d’Esters pour relever mais bien intégrés au reste (pour un DOK). => Un DOK dans un gant de velours. Seule la finale manque peut être un peu de longueur.
The beginning and the end goes to Belize, in the middle the DOK comes out to play. Enjoyable blend.
15/03/25: tasted @ Brussels Rhum Festival. According to me, this is a nice successful blend. The addition of the Hampden DOK mark (15%) to the Belizian (85%) flavour profile works very well and makes for an enjoyable sipping experience. 10/04/25: retasted @ Famille Ricci tasting in TasTToe. Score remains unchanged. I still really like this blend.
Brussels Rhum Festival 15/03/2025 Ricci sure knows how to blend. Belize and DOK what's not to like. Very successful enjoyable rum. Road Rummers S8 T5 Ricci tasting Tasting it a second time and still great blend. Sweet nose. The DOK is there over the whole line, I think the Belize gives the herbal touch. I wonder what it would be with some more DOK 🤤🤤🤤
