"Comparison with the T.D.L from Chorlton RX18983 and Roots RX20517. Roots: very intensely fruity. fruits of all kinds in the nose and on the palate, which appear increasingly candied on the palate. a typical T.D.L mint note plays around the whole. the finish is medium-long and unspectacular. a great T.D.L, which is looking for its equal in palatability. - 87 points. chorlton: also a typusch fruity 2009 T.D.L. proful, a bit dirtier, frücjte are overripe, with more earthy and towards the finish also mineral flavors. -82 points. I really like the 2009 T.D.L! If the alcohol had been better integrated in both, they would have scored more points. I'm curious to see what else will come."
"Not much going on on the nose for the first go. Rather closed up with wood and some burnt caramel. Does not deliver on the fruit and/or herbal side of the TDL profile unfortunately. A bit more interesting on the palate. Yet still not very exciting, with only some hints of herbs and fruits showing up to the party."
"Smell very sweet but pleasant with red fruits. The taste is very sweet, but still ok. With honey herbs, mint just a hint. The ABV is briefly pungent, but after a few sips it becomes rounder. Personally, I expected a bit more for a 2009, but it's still ok."
"Good mixer, but for pure enjoyment a far cry from other, better TDLs. More wood and caramel here. Some fruit and a hint of mint."
