This rum is very, very sweet. It almost goes in the direction of the whole A. H. Riise. But I still like it to some extent. As I said, relatively sweet, to me it tastes of caramel and chocolate. Okay.
Schöner Geruch von Schokolade in der Nase. Im Mund dann auch ein Schokoladenaroma mit der Schärfe der 44% und im Abgang schmecke ich Ingwer. Er ist allerdings auch ziemlich süß und spricht eher Einsteiger an.
Beim ersten Nippen eher enttäuschend, typischer „Rumgeruch“ mit…, ja mit was genau? Ein bisschen zu wenig, von Allem! Beim nächsten Schluck wird es dann klarer. Er regt meinen Speichfluss genau wie mein Lieblings-Madeira an. Und als meine Frau dann noch Zitrusfrüchte roch, konnte ich das Geschmacksprofil für mich einordnen: Dunkle Schokolade mit Orangenschale. 2 Stunden später läuft mir noch das Wasser im Mund zusammen. Wenn er nur insgesamt etwas mehr Power hätte…abgewertet, da er in Vergleichstests irgendwie künstlich wirkt
