Un des nombreux batchs de la gamme, ce Longueteau présente au nez une symphonie bien à lui, très orientée sur le boisé, les notes grillées, les noix, le chocolat, le moka, les épices (muscade, vanille) le tabac et le sucre brun. C’est un profil rond et élégant pour un rhum agricole, auquel s’ajoutent quelques notes de fruits secs et de caramel. L’attaque en bouche se focalise sur la même sensation de douceur et d’élégance : fruits secs, agrumes confits, sucre brun, caramel et épices douces (poivre, cannelle, muscade, vanille) font de ce Longuteau un jus voluptueux et gourmand, affiné par le chêne toasté et le tabac. La sensation en bouche est agréable, ample et avec une bonne intégration de l’alcool. La finale, un peu plus sèche et un peu moins marquante, revient sur un registre plus orienté vers le moka, le miel, le chêne, les épices, le tabac et les fruits secs. C’est une cuvée plaisante qui ravira les amateurs du côté gourmand des rhums agricoles, mais qui a un certain prix malgré tout.
