This is the logical continuation on the way to the 20-year-old Panama rum from the Raw Cask series, which I think is terrific for my palate. A little roastier and nuttier than the 13-year-old bottling, but not yet endowed with this impressively creamy spiciness. Once again a really nice drop that proves the good hand of this bottler.
Tasted at GRF2025 Disappointed by this Blackadder rum. I can appreciate single cask bottling from Panama, this one just didn't do it for me. The smell is pleasant, but the alcoholic smell is very present. A bit too much maybe. Taste aligns with the smell, but my assumption is confirmed, the balance is way off.
Tastes like great FSQ
