One of the best value for money... For such quality... This fruity-woody blend with a great nose. Very nice product

I can't get it down, sorry. that's not possible.

Each time I open the bottle and re-taste the goodness, it gets better.... In the meantime, I have to adjust my initial opinion as I can now appreciate it much more. For me, one of the proofs that my pallet is gradually evolving.

Nach 2 Jahren mal wieder im Glas gehabt. Immernoch ein sehr solider Einsteiger in Jamaica Rum mit unfassbarem PLV. 70€ für 16 Jahre tropical ist heutztage unvorstellbar.

For me, one of the Jamaicans with the best PLV. Fruity, dry, present esters, plus light spice, bitterness and slight acidity. Despite the long tropical maturation, the wood remains in the background, but gives a very balanced rum.Especially on the exhale shows a fruitiness of passion fruit and mango reminiscent of an IPA mixed with a tart bitterness - whose herbal facet is actually reminiscent of hops. Remains present in the finish for quite a long time. When Plantation delivers like this, there's no reason to criticize.

A fruity ester nose, just the way you like it! A salad of ripe fruit, with a lovely caramelized apple as the main ingredient. We're in the gourmet section of the supermarket: marzipan, frangipane, chouchous (caramelized peanuts), ... the whole thing is very pastry-like. But let's not forget a quick trip to the drugstore aisle with the usual Solvents-Glues-Varnishes from this terroir. On the palate, it's in the same vein as the nose, incredibly fruity and soft on the palate. It's perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of woodiness for my taste. Candied fruit.

Je demande plus de rhum de cette qualité à ce prix !! Un rhum de tous les soirs ! Très beau jamaïcain! Le vieillissement en fut de cognac est du plus belle effet !

Pleasant but not my favorite type

This is a very delicious, round, harmonious Clarendon. Perfect as a daily sipper. The alcohol is integrated very well. Unfortunately it‘s diluted, otherwise this one could reach a high 80-90 valutation.

Didn't like it too much.

A very nice 17 year old sipper from Jamaica. It has the Jamaican funk but is also very fruity and well balanced. The fruitiness starts at the nose all the way through to the long finish. Finish has a bit of peppery to it and I like this one a lot. Price to quality is good.

Very fruity profile as expected from a Clarendon rum. It is funky and round but the final could have been longer. Maybe because of its 49.5° ...

A good value for money on gourmet and affordable Jamaica!
