“Blindverkostung. An der Nase anfangs schön malzig, dachte zuerst an einen REV 1994, der Eindruck verflog aber schnell, ich tippte daher auf einen Diamond, vielleicht aus dem Jahr 2002. Der Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden, man kann ein ganzes Bündel Kräuter herausschmecken, außerdem kräftigen Eukalyptus. Obwohl objektiv sicher ein sehr guter Rum zu einem unglaublichen PLV, aber ich tat mich irgendwie schwer damit, das Sample auszutrinken. Vielleicht ist er einfach nicht mein Fall.”

“Sehr ähnlich zu den Vorgänger-Abfüllungen von Our Rum & Spirit, für mich einen Ticken vorne, weil die Rauchigkeit etwas gebändigter daherkommt. Es geht aber um Nuancen, insgesamt bleibt das Profil natürlich nahe beieinander. Tolle Releases, auch hier bleibt mir nur festzuhalten, welche versteckten Highlights es lange zu mehr als fairen Preisen zu entdecken gab.”
