How does this rum taste?
The "Guyana Rum 2003" from the Diamond Distillery, bottled by Our Rum & Spirits, offers a bold taste profile reminiscent of dark sugar, caramel, and raisins. This limited edition rum, aged for 14 years, delivers complex flavors of spice and wood with a well-integrated alcohol presence. Users highlight its rich, full-bodied character with lingering notes of chocolate and leather. The strong ABV of 64.5% gives it a noticeable but not overwhelming alcoholic warmth. While praised for its excellent price-to-value ratio and distinct Guyanese characteristics, some reviewers find the robustness to occasionally overpower subtler notes. The rum's uniqueness and scarcity make it a sought-after choice for enthusiasts seeking depth and intensity.

This too is column still, so I assume the same mark as the 13yo bottles. Not as much wood, a little more fruit and on the palate the alcohol is a bit stronger. However, this too had looong time to breathe (had to delay the tasting, so the sample was 1 day in the covered glass) and I really have no issue with this. Good one, also in regards to price for value, as this is single cask.
