This is so thick you have to chew it. Dark, musty where the many years in oak comes thru. Unfortunately the finish is too short.

Au nez on retrouve de la prune, des raisins secs, de la datte … Ce n’est pas du tout agressif au nez avec ses 46.5%, bien du contraire c’est très doux. Le nez est fruité et frais mais pas que, car avec l'aération apparait un profil plus lourd avec des notes de torréfactions, de cuir, de bois ... Le nez est attrayant à n'en pas douter. En bouche, c'est crémeux et c’est moins fruité que le nez, c’est plus boisé et gras sur le chocolat. On retrouve du caramel brûlé. Mais une amertume plutôt dérangeante est présente (du café amer, des tannins …). La finale est longue sur le bois brûlé.

Richtig leckerer, reifer Guyana Rum! Schön schwer, dunkel und intensiv. Die Trinkstärke steht dem Rum gut.
