"This 10 year old Montebello from the Carrère distillery is probably a blend of at least 10 yo rum, cause there are no vintage year stamped on the backside label (as it was on the elder releases) instead the release year is stamped at the front label. The nose is powerful, woody, spicy and fruity with aromas of oak, caramel, leather, grass and dried exotic fruits. At the palate it’s smooth, rich, spicy and complex with flavors of vanilla, coconut, exotic fruits and licorice. During the long finish the flavors from the palate remains."
