The richness and depth of flavour are absolutely first class. A proper thick and oily rum that coats your mouth with sultana, caramel and leathery notes. A very long and chewy finish follows.
Crosstasted with batch #2 from TBRC. This is a whole class better. Much more complex, aromatic and with more depth and, above all, clear fruit aromas of the red kind. It's really fun
Very fruity on the nose, especially raisin with some blackberry. The mouthfeel is somewhat wine-like. The smell can also be found in the taste, with slightly more chocolate notes. Very tasty rum! I think I need to drink more Diamond
Very interesting Diamond. Almost exclusively aromas of dried fruit (plum, raisin) on the nose. The taste is a rather dry rum with a medium finish. For me, the alcohol is very well integrated.
