“Die Verbindung zu Thema Feuer und den Whiskyfässern kann ich so also für mich nicht finden. Macht aber auch nichts, oder ist möglicherweise sogar besser so. Gefällt mir sehr gut. Und für den Preis noch viel mehr. Sofern man auf diese Rumstilistik steht und es sich bei dem getesteten auch um diesen Rum handelt.”

“Zunächst bin ich verwirrt: Auf dem Label der Flasche ist der Alkoholgehalt mit 59,6% angegeben. Auf meinem Sampel stehen jedoch 69,8%. Zufällig genau so viel wie der Elements Water. Da hat wohl der Praktikant nicht aufgepasst!? Die Nase verrät den jamaikanischen Ursprung sofort. Hampden-Ester ohne Ende! Allerdings darf ich nicht zu tief ins Glas hinein riechen - da schlägt mit der Alkohol kräftig entgegen! Rauch kann ich an der Nase höchstens ganz entfernt finden. Am Gaumen unglaublich kräftiger Start und hier ist auch der Rauch da! Weniger medizinisch sondern mehr in Richtung Lagerfeuer und zum Glück nicht vordergründig. Nach dem Rauch blitzen Süße Orangen auf. Insgesamt schon sehr ungestüm und scharfkantig. Zum Nachklang wird der Einfluß des Whiskyfasses nochmal deutlicher - dominiert aber nicht den Eindruck. Wie bei vielen jungen Hampden Abfüllungen ist der Nachklang lang verliert aber rasch an Intensität. Obwohl ich sonst kein Freund von Whisky-Rum-Hybriden bin halte ich die Abfüllung für ein gelungenes Experiment. Der Whiskyeinfluss bleibt dezent und unterstreicht mit der Rauchnote das "Feuer" im Namen.”

“Nach dem esterreichen Tollen Start mit "Wasser" nun also "Feuer" und wie der Name schon vermuten lässt sind Whisky Fässer im Spiel. In der Nase haben wir immer noch einen schönen runden Jamaikaner, da fällt dieser Fasseinfluss nicht allzu sehr auf. Das ändert sich aber gleich beim Antrunk wo uns ein rauchig-torfiges Profil erwartet das die tropischen Früchte klar dominiert. Alles in allem in Ordnung aber einfach nicht mein Geschmack aber auch nichts was ich weg schütten würde. Kann ich mir nämlich gut als Mixer mit Cola vorstellen.”
