The finest version of Neisson's 2005 millesime. Only 207 bottles Very, very heavy stuff
Tasted at Velier Live 2024, what a massive piece of Rum. Unfortunately they know that and put a price on that. The aging really got a kind of demerara aged heaviness into it. Really a lovely piece that should be tried!
Ein sehr guter Agricole der feinen eleganten Art… aber ich muss sagen, da hatte ich schon bessere im Glas. Mir fehlt etwas die Komplexität und das Alleinstellungsmerkmal, was ich bei diesem Preis erwarten würde
Da hatte ich mir von 18 Jahren schon etwas mehr erhofft. Florale Nase mit Pelargonie (Duftgeranie), Zitrus (Frucht, Schale, Marmelade) sowie Zucker und etwas Rosine und kandiertes. Am Gaumen dann Eiche mit etwas Karamell + Rosine sonst nur wieder Zitrus mit Agricole Noten. Die Nase hat mir gut gefallen, am Gaumen fehlt mir aber etwas Gehalt. Ist mir da einfach zu frisch und agricolig. Insgesamt für mich eher uninteressant.
