“Fasssprache N. 13 Kiri vs. N. 01 Basis Rum. Die 6 zusätzlichen Monate im new-make Kiri-Baum-Fass haben die Farbe um nur 3 Stufen dunkler werden lassen. Das könnte am schnell wachsenden Holz liegen… Nase: schon noch sehr ähnlich zur Basis, wenn auch etwas holziger. Geht Richtung jungem Holz Balsaholz oder Stroh. Eine karamellige Süße und ein Hauch Tabak kommen hinzu. Leicht fruchtig, aber nicht Limette, sondern Johannisbeere und dazu dann der grüne Apfel. Nur zarte Veränderung, aber ok. 7,2 Gaumen: viel weniger bitter aber ebenso salzig-pfefferig und holziger-würzig wie die Basis. Anders ist allerdings die deutliche Tabak-Note gleich zu Beginn, die bis in den Abgang bleibt. Das kommt sich noch etwas Muskat hinzu. Für mich zu nah am Ausgangsmaterial. 7,0”
