“Fasssprache N. 07 Caucasian Oak vs. N. 01 Basis Rum. Die 6 zusätzlichen Monate im new-make Eichenfass aus dem Kaukasus-Gebirge haben die Farbe um 8 Stufen dunkler werden lassen. Nase: zu Beginn kurz alkoholisch, aber weniger als die Basis, auch weniger pfefferig, dafür fruchtiger und süßlicher. Die Frucht wandelt sich von Limette und grünem Apfel mehr Richtung süß-säuerlicher Maracuja. Hinzu kommt eine angenehme Ahornsirup-Süße mit einer fein rauchigen Tabak-Note . Angenehm. 7,5 Gaumen: starker Fasseinfluß, holziger, würziger, voller. Zu Beginn auch bitter-salzig, aber schnell intensiver in Richtung Muskat und Lakritze, diese gibt auch eine herbe, speckige Süße, die intensiver als die der Basis ist. Kräftig-herb-süß, gut. 7,5”
