“Fasssprache N. 04 German Oak vs. N. 01 Basis Rum. Die 6 zusätzlichen Monate im new-make Eichenfass haben die Farbe um 8 Stufen dunkler werden lassen. Also zwischen Amarican Oak und Frech Oak. Nase: sehr ähnlich zur Basis. Alkoholische Schärfe zu Beginn mit Limette und grünem Apfel. Etwas lieblicher vielleicht. Im Unterschied zu den ersten beiden oaks und der Basis kommt hier jetzt noch eine leichte Rauch- oder Tabak-Note durch, die immer deutlicher wird. Das ist ja mal interessant. 7,2 Gaumen: filigraner als American und French, ksum Süße aber ebenso würzig-holzig. Aber auch hier deutlich dichter an der Basis. Bitter zu Beginn, leicht speckig, etwas Lakritze. Auch Muskat, aber weniger Pfeffer und weniger fruchtig. Ich schätze, dass die dichteren Poren der langsam wachsenden deutschen Eiche hier das Fass weniger intensiv einwirken lassen. Es hat insgesamt nur wenig Einfluss. 7,0”
