"Fasssprache N. 14 Chestnut vs. N. 01 Basis Rum. Die 6 zusätzlichen Monate im new-make Kastanien-Fass haben die Farbe um 8 Stufen dunkler werden lassen. Nase: voller und reifer als die Basis. Wirkt holzig-würzig-fruchtig aber auch nussig-ölig-fettig. Frucht geht weg von Limette, hin zu Aprikose mit Brombeere, vielleicht auch Stachelbeere. Die Süße geht eher Richtung Ahornsirup. Schöne Aromen. 7,4 Gaumen: vorab herzhafte Ahornsirup-Süße mit einer leicht speckig-salzigen oder fetten Nuss-Aromatik. Auch das Pfefferige kommt wieder durch. Deutlich Brioche, das die Frucht verdeckt… am ehesten aber doch wieder Aprikose. Das Fass gibt hier dich einiges schönes hinzu und macht den Rum süßer und runder. 7,4"
"Wagemut Fasssprache Projekt (Cask Strenght) Zu erwarten ist, dass für solch ein Projekt nicht der best-mögliche Rum verwendet wird. Der Basis Rum ist vergleichsweise spritig ohne besondere Ausprägung. 1.Flight: Base Rum / alle Oaks Interessant, wie sehr doch die Unterschiede bei einzelnen Eichen-Arten sind. Mizunara hat mich besonders überrascht. 2.Flight: Base Rum / Spezial Hölzer Wahnsinnig unterschiedlich, von schlecht zu gut war alles dabei. Besten Dank für dieses interessantes Projekt."
