Fasssprache N. 12 Mulberry vs. N. 01 Basis Rum. Die 6 zusätzlichen Monate im new-make Maulbeerholz-Fass haben die Farbe um ganze 10 Stufen dunkler werden lassen. Nase: man merkt, dass es sich um ein hocharomatisches Holz handelt. Es übernimmt komplett. Der Rum wirkt jetzt älter und gereifter als die Basis. Nicht mehr alkoholisch und nach Limette mit Karamell. Jetzt ist er würzig-holzig, hat etwas leicht medizinisches - Pflaster - zu Beginn, und bekommt dann eine deutliche Tabak-Note. Dazu süße von Kristallzucker. Die Frucht geht ins Beerige, Brombeere. Ist gut. 7,9 Gaumen: deutliche Wandlung der Basis, auch wenn die Grundaromen ähnlich bleiben. Die Süße wird intensiver Richtung salziger, weicher Lakritze und das leicht Rauchige geht Richtung intensiver Tabak-Noten. Diese werden von ölig-speckiger Tonkabohne begleitet. Schön intensiv, aber etwas zu viel Tabak 7,7
Wieder etwas speckig-rauchig, leichte Vanille.
Wagemut Fasssprache Projekt (Cask Strenght) Zu erwarten ist, dass für solch ein Projekt nicht der best-mögliche Rum verwendet wird. Der Basis Rum ist vergleichsweise spritig ohne besondere Ausprägung. 1.Flight: Base Rum / alle Oaks Interessant, wie sehr doch die Unterschiede bei einzelnen Eichen-Arten sind. Mizunara hat mich besonders überrascht. 2.Flight: Base Rum / Spezial Hölzer Wahnsinnig unterschiedlich, von schlecht zu gut war alles dabei. Besten Dank für dieses interessantes Projekt.
Wagemut Fasssprache, 16 mal der gleiche Basis-Rum in Fässern aus jeweils unterschiedlichem Holz gelagert. Sehr interessantes Projekt (danke an Flo für das Teilen). Sehr eigen, mit leicht medizinischen Noten und eher auf der würzigen Seite, aber gut.
