The Guyana was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 1997 from Molasses and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 637 bottles.

J’ai pas aimé. Trop léger a mon goût. Manque de complexité, pas de longueur

Plutôt bien équilibré. Les faibles degrés cassent un peu le côté très fumé et alcoolique qu’on trouve souvent sur les bdf de cette distillerie et mets en avant un profil plus fruité sans perdre en puissance et en longueur.

Very good. When nosing it’s very hard to resist the urge to empty the glass. The 45% make it very drinkable.
