"This is a medium priced rum and they did pretty well. A very flavourful rum with lots of wooden notes and fruit. Not too sweet, but nicely balanced and medium complexity. Price to quality is very good. "

"A second sample of the Centenario 25 has been bobbing around in my cellar for 1.5 years. Now, on vacation, I "dare" to try it again and have to say that I am even more disappointed than the first time. Very flat on the nose, but then mineral notes on the palate, such as brine, and after about 5 seconds in the mouth it becomes artificial, almost perfumed. Some coffee in the finish, but nothing really interesting that could captivate me in any way. A disappointment for me and a benevolent rating of mediocre."

"A truly amazing rum at a great price. It’s a very smooth drink with nice sweet and complex notes on the nose. Starting from the top and working towards it with the nose presents the sweeter notes then brings in the more nuanced ones such as the woody scent from the barrels. First sip is a bit strong but after letting it breathe a bit yields a flavor palate that’s a bit smoother and sweeter."
