Exciting, fruity rum with lots of wood. The red wine barrel comes through very well. As well as tannins and vanilla. I assume that the red wine barrel is American white oak. A little sweet
Very good and interesting rum!
Very plesent in the nose. No alcohol, sweet, wine, fruits like berries and grapes, and a bit of wood. In mouth is a nice combination of rum and wine. Sweet, round rum (~10g/L) with a bit of spice, caramel, and surprising creamines and barrel that bring wood, fruits, and wine balance with tannins Finish is pretty short with fading wine, but tannins stay. Good sipper for someone who likes round, sweeter rums. Nothing fancy, but nice and tasty.
Despite the pot still production process, conspicuous aromas on the nose are missing.Intense wood spice dominates the taste, at the end a small honey note can be heard. One notices his youth due to the low character. Nevertheless, a nice mildness for the age.
