Ein Stil der polarisiert. Für Puristen und Jamaika Aficionados ist dieser Rum sicherlich nicht der Richtige. Wer nicht so auf den typischen Jamaika Funk mit seinem Hochesterkonzentrat und den damit verbundenen ölig, dreckigen Aromen steht, für den ist dieser Rum schon einen Versuch wert.
Charakterlos mit viel Süßwein, ansonsten ziemlich Flach. 😔
Moscatel ist eigentlich eine meiner liebsten Süßwein-Varianten, wenn es um die Reifung von Spirituosen geht, aber hier wurde meines Erachtens der Bogen überspannt. Über die minimale Schwefelverunreinigung des Fasses könnte ich ja vielleicht noch hinwegsehen, jedoch wird durch das pappsüße Nassfass jegliche Grundcharakteristik des Rums unkenntlich gemacht.
