It was distilled in 1991 from Molasses with a Double Wooden Pot Still and then aged for 26 years. The rum has an ABV of 55,3%. Gefällt mir sehr gut. Geradliniges Profil, ein reifer PM mit toller Ausprägung der typischen herben Noten aus dem Fass, reichlich Würzaromatik von Anis und mildem Pfeffer, ausgewogener Mineralik, dezenter Röstigkeit und etwas Zitrusfrüchten.
Quite a restrained nose. On the palate, however, a beautiful creaminess and intensity. Spices, a few maritime salt notes and citrus fruits. Some smoke. Great Port Mourant with a relatively subtle barrel influence.
Verwechslungsgefahr in der Nase mit dem TRC PM 1997, nur etwas alkoholischer, aber nahezu identisch. Am Gaumen etwas mehr Tiefgang als beim WB, weniger Süß bzw. trockener. Auch hier ein schwerer Körper, mit großem Aromenspektrum und einer schönen Cremigkeit. Der Abgang fällt länger aus als beim WB und ist auch hier etwas trockener. Auch ein toller Rum, der mir sehr gut gefällt. 88 Punkte
