Aquavitae Mülheim October 2025. I don't particularly like this Camikara. Very fruity, cherry and raspberry are easily recognizable. But overall it's a little too fruity.
Very distinct with some sort of papaya fruity tone.
Of course, the aim here is not to create characterful corners and edges that will remain in your memory for a long time, or to create an aroma discharge driven forward by a high alcohol content, but to create a cozy and delicious drinking experience and this has certainly been achieved. Despite the mild drinking strength, the 8-year-old Camikara is surprisingly full-bodied, has some pleasant aromas in store and cuts a fine figure, and not just because of its low price.
Interesting rum. However, the sour/fermented smell on the nose bothers me. Fortunately, this is absent in the taste. Here it is fruity with caramel and roasted notes. Although it is declared as uncolored, it is reminiscent of sugar couleur both on the nose and in the mouth.
