Dieser Rum gibt stets ein Aroma ab, das mich an ein Getreidedestillat erinnert, primär Korn. Dabei aber auch Aromen von Bonbons mit Kirsch und Himbeer Geschmack. Etwas grasig. Am Gaumen süß und wie viele Column-still Rums und wieder etwas von den süßen Beeren
Hier geht es natürlich nicht um charakterstarke Ecken und Kanten, die einem nachhaltig in Erinnerung bleiben sollen, oder um eine mittels hohem Alkoholgehalt nach vorne getriebene Aromenentladung, sondern um ein gemütliches und leckeres Trinkerlebnis und dies ist durchaus gelungen. Trotz der milden Trinkstärke ist der 8jährige Camikara erstaunlich vollmundig, hat einige angenehme Aromen auf Lager und macht nicht nur wegen des günstigen Preises eine gute Figur.
Interesting rum. However, the sour/fermented smell on the nose bothers me. Fortunately, this is absent in the taste. Here it is fruity with caramel and roasted notes. Although it is declared as uncolored, it is reminiscent of sugar couleur both on the nose and in the mouth.
