Die 4jährige Nachreifung im ''Ballechin''-Fass hat diesem Rum einen deutlichen Stempel aufgedrückt, wodurch die feine Fruchtigkeit des Destillats beim Geschmack und vor allem beim vom aschigen Torfrauch dominierten Abgang kaum noch zu erkennen ist. Dieser Wechsel des Aromenspiels lässt mit Sicherheit keine Langeweile aufkommen, jedoch könnten Puristen mit diesem „Rum-Whisky-Hybriden“ eventuell ein paar Probleme haben. Auch wenn ich nicht immer für so etwas in der richtigen Stimmung bin, gefällt mir das Gesamtpaket gut.
