How does this rum taste?
Most enjoy it as a classic, fruity Worthy Park with cigar-like, woody depth. Critics find the alcohol borderline and the technical/solvent notes a bit too dominant. Overall: a solid, characterful Jamaican.
If you already like other aged Worthy Park or high-ester Jamaicans and want a drier, cigar-ish single cask with some polishy bite, this will likely hit the spot.
Beginners, those sensitive to high ABV, or drinkers who dislike solvent/technical notes and prefer soft, sweet, easygoing rums.

8,3:On the nose, esters and polish bump into our nosetrils, with tropical fruits like banana and pineapple, funky, roasted wood notes with caramel and pastry, spices like vanilla. On aeration, the molasses is grassy and herbaceous, slightly flowery, earthy with tobacco, some roasted nuts arise. 8,5:On the palate, the attack is fruity, medicinal with esters, glue and overripe tropical fruits like banana, pineapple and citrus, much later red fruits. The wood is roasted, a bit smoky with pastry, toffee and spicy with vanilla, pepper. If the rum is oxidized, it becomes herbaceous, sone camphor pops out. 8,4:The finish is long, dry and tannic, as roasted wood notes, spicy and smoky are pairing tropical fruits..
16.9.202 voni Worthy Parkem furt chuti is a bulldozer, it eats the tongue back and forth
Alkohol grenzwertig, aber im Gegensatz zu anderen Abfüllungen nicht überbordend. Schöner WP mit guter Balance.
Again Jamaica shows me why I love rums from this destination. In aroma I noticed lot of fruits, that funky thing, my beloved chocolate. There is also almost cigar scent with technical scents (polish mostly). In taste at the beginning I noticed that Jamaica funk with lot of fruits and esters (good site), than unfortunately, the technical flavor breaks through everything with not really pleasant alcohol flavor. Finish is not that long but, to my surprise, ester flavor came back with little bit of chocolate. Overall it is not bad rum at all. Little bit less technical flavors and little bit more those fruits, esters, funk and chocolate and I would give it higher mark. I really liked the aroma, even that this rum has 60.7 % ABV it is very soft.
