Precious Liquors Diamond 100 Aspects of the Moon #2 PM 2001
Highly praised as a relaxed, approachable PM with fruity, woody and roasted notes. Well-liked for easy sipping and typical Guyana character at moderate strength.
Fans of classic Guyana/Port Mourant profiles who want an easier-drinking, lower-ABV sipper with apple, fruity and roasted notes rather than heavy funk or cask-strength intensity.

How does this rum taste?
Relaxed, classic Port Mourant sipper
If you enjoy Guyanese rums but don’t always want full power, this keeps the Port Mourant character in a lighter, easy-sipping format that still rewards attention.
Those seeking thick, oily mouthfeel, a long finish, or big cask-strength power; drinkers very sensitive to any alcohol bite may also find it a bit sharp.

Very clean and fresh Diamond. Great complexity!
Tasted at Ian Burrell’s Masterclass at UK RumFest. For me it leads with the burnt suger profile that is typical of Guyanan rums and perhaps a Port Mourant. I had spotted the Precious Drops stand and though this might be their White Cat (particularly also because there was a second Guyanan rum which I thought could be the Black Cat). Turns out I was wrong on the bottle but right on the still and bottler - I think that’s more luck than judgement but I’ll take it! This was actually my favourite of the five tried in the blind tasting, and it had some well-heeled competition.
Tasted at German rum festival Amazing rum. Very easy sipper and fantastic taste. Another very good bottling by Precious Liquors.
A strange weak Guyana with no conclusion at all.
