Mount Gay Master Select 1703 2017

"I rated the precursor, the “Old Cask 1703”, quite low, probably because it was my first contact with English styled rum. Now I appreciate this rum a lot and I will probably upgrade my rating of the “Old Cask 1703” if I make a retest."

"Vanilla, cookie dough, banana and soothing freshness from apple notes. A nice balanced nose, just not particularly exciting.Then in the mouth a nice tingly feeling, unfortunately a bit watered down. Now nice complex spicy notes and well-dosed woodiness. In the finish a bit short.A nobly packaged Easy Sipper, tastes good, craftsmanship impeccable. Defiantly an unexciting product and too expensive."
