The "Trinidad" was produced in Trinidad at the T.D.L distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2012 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 63,1%. This is a limited release and there are only 272 bottles.

“Alkohol ist nicht gut eingebunden. Geht Richtung spanischen Stil mit Schokolade und Karamellnoten. Bleibt aber sehr flach und T.D.L hätte ich blind nicht gewusst. Da gibt es meiner Meinung deutlich spannendere Abfüllungen von T.D.L”

“Farbe: Goldenes Bernstein Nase: Karamell, Verbrannten Zucker, leicht alkoholisch stechenden in der Nase Gaumen: Zuerst recht stark, intensiv, etwas strittig. Dann Schokolade, Leder und dunkle Traubennoten. Fazit: Er erinnert mich sehr an einen Rum aus Belize. TDL hätte ich blind nicht getippt. Der Alkohol könnte besser integriert sein. Grdsl ein solider Rum, aber auch nichts besonderes.”
