This Longueteau rum from the Esperance distillery in Guadeloupe is made of Red Cane from plot No 1. It’s a Brut de Fut distilled in 2020, aged for 2 years in new French oak barrels and bottled without any reduction in 5000 bottles. The nose is fruity, woody and spicy with scents of vanilla, sugarcane, caramel and raspberry. At the palate it’s powerful, complex, fresh, fruity, sweet, balanced and a little woody with flavors of orange, marzipan, caramel and mint. The finish is long, sweet and aromatic with a flavor of chocolate.
