How does this rum taste?
The Angostura Single Cask Selection rum is a limited edition bottling by Rum Shark, distilled in Trinidad in 2009 from molasses. Aged for 14 years and bottled at cask strength with an ABV of 66.8%, this rum offers a bold aromatic profile featuring dominant notes of caramel and alcoholic warmth amidst hints of molasses and dried tropical fruits. Its tasting experience reveals intense flavors of caramel balanced with warmth and grassy undertones, underscored by a medicinal and slightly sour finish. This particular selection is suited for those who appreciate a robust, high-alcohol rum, though it may require a dash of water to mellow its robust profile.

Wieder mal sehr hochprozentig.
It's probably Port Mourant
As with 2013 I don't recognize TDL, but does it fit DDL ?! Aside from the ambivalence about the destination, it's fine Guyana:-)
Last from the Triplet. Aroma, well it is sweet and very medicinal/polish-y at the same time, which makes me sick to be honest. There is a lot of spice, some wood/oak scent and I noticed some fruit there. What is interesting the whole aroma is gentle and I expected it would be much more stronger and sharper. Taste is pretty sharp at the beginning, there is a lot of floral, grassy flavor with almost winey flavor (it makes the whole rum sour and dry at the same time not bad at all). What I do not like is that sweet flavor of chocolate or maybe caramel. Finish is not long enoug, little bit sweety(caramel/honey) and spicy. Definetly the “worst” from the Triplet. I really do not like the aroma of this rum (it is not for me at all), it should be much more stronger and less sweet than it is. I recomended to try the whole triplet if you have chance and try to see/feel/smell the differences.
