"Notes taken during the Rhum Fest 2024, Quick notes and a bit heavy palate, sorry :) We have here: a burnt, smoky side, a light brine? Rum: quite surprising, I'd never have guessed it was a La Mauny. Finish: intense, burnt, smoky It's still quite nice, not too much in my style, but it's a change, and it's well done."

"The nose is charred, toasty, woody with some fruit on the side. The palate is very charred, then toasted wood, pepper, leather, citrus tobacco and a distant sweetness on the finish. In the empty glass intense seasoning."
