How does this rum taste?
Plantation VSOR Madeira Wine Cask is an untypical Guatemalan rum, where caramel and dried fruits meet oak and a gentle sweetness. Users note plenty of "woody spice with a cacao and dried fruit" (damin.massicotte), with hints of coffee and apricot peeking through for some. While a touch of alcohol prickle shows up—"strong alcohol and nail polish aroma" (X-Savior)—most find it round, lightly spiced, and approachable, especially on ice. Not your average regional style, but that’s part of the appeal.

Nice flavors
On rocks: smell of woody spice, with some dried fruit. With taste woody spice with a cacoa and dried fruit with a medium finish. Would be a good sipping rum
On The Rocks: On the nose there is a strong alcohol and nail polish aroma with some mild raisins and oak. Taste initially reveals sweetness and delayed spice with a mild burn with a mild moleasses undertone. Finish is medium length with a mild spiced oak red wine trailing off with continued chest warmth.
