The "Cuba" was produced in Cuba at the Secrete distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2009 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 57,8%. Sweetness and fruit and tropical fruit on the nose, mostly sweet. The fruit remains in the mouth, both tropical and dried, and sweetness. A little alcohol shines from the 57%, brings something more to the table besides the sweet. Quite nice but I will explore other bottles before I search for this one again.
