"A fine, exotic drop, in my opinion! A clear sticky note at the beginning, then something else on the finish, which must be the influence of the Mezcal cask. I'm already looking forward to the second tasting when the sample from Olivia arrives. On the other hand, a bottle is not expensive, you can't go wrong with the price ... Update 2023-11-28: The 2nd tasting confirms it: light but drinkable. A really successful mezcal experiment. Quite unlike the Calvados experiment released at the same time (still without a RumX number)."

"The mezcal finish works surprisingly well - as expected, the rum turns spicy and smoky on the palate, but doesn't get lost in it. An interesting experiment that can certainly be described as a success."

"Quite interesting but overall too spicy and too young."

"The initial nose reminded me of an urinal puck. After some time it become some kind of Parfum, fruits and some vegetal notes. Overall it is quite fresh but I have to be honest that don’t recognise any Mezcal. Of course there are some nice aspects of this dram but nothing I haven’t seen somewhere else (and without the Mezcal finish). It is a decent but also kind of boring drop."
