How does this rum taste?
Rumclub Private Selection Ed. 40 Australia is a distinctive Australian rum from Beenleigh distillery, aged 16 years and bottled at cask strength of 64.8% ABV. This limited-edition offering impresses with prominent citrus, chocolate, and pastry aromas. Users appreciate its bold citrus and woody palate, accompanied by marzipan and marmalade notes. While the alcohol is generally well-integrated, some find it overpowering without water. The rum is praised for its balance, complexity, and rich finish featuring marzipan and dried fruits. Its fruity, spicy, and chocolaty taste delights connoisseurs seeking unique rum experiences, though the intense flavor profile may not appeal to everyone.

To Beenleigh
Wow, this is really fun. Plenty of power in the nose and on the palate - without being too strenuous. There's a pleasant fruit brandy/grappa note on the palate that I've never had in a rum before. Exciting bottling!
#4510 07.12.2023 This is a wonderful and really well balanced rum once rested. The price tag is also really good. Fresh and fruity with a intense nose. The palate is oily and sweet with nice marzipan and citrus. The finish is very long and warm with dried fruit. Love the marzipan in the profile. Draws beautiful curtains in the glass. The empty glass has some caramel, vanilla and light chocolate.
This is a real power house! A solid beenleigh from start to the end! But i liked the first edition from Rum Club a lot better! The ABV is integrated good, but not as good as in the first one. Also due to the longer aging, this is woodier and furrier…
