It was distilled in 2012 from Sugar cane juice and then aged for 8 years - 11 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52%. "Hmmm such an undrinkable mixture of gamy, grassy metallic. The nose is strongly reminiscent of Amontillado sherry. I'm actually a fan of the Couvreur whiskies - but this thing really disappointed/disturbed me, the cask just doesn't match the agricole that they put in there ..."
