“First impression: Unfortunately, I didn't really get around to analyzing this one in peace due to all the bottling of samples. But the first one is already very good. I think it will be corrected. Edit: Tasted again in peace after the bottle had quite a lot of air. Developed very well. But still made a small downward adjustment.”

“Nice nose with some dirt, smoke and a lot of fruits. Very intense fruity notes on this barrel. On the palate: sweetness, cacoa, some dirt and again a nice touch of fruityness. Very good 98 cask imo.”

“Intensely fruity affair. Great nose, heavy sweetness, compote-like fruit combo. In comparison, less workshop aromas than other bottlings. Good overall picture and very tasty. Blind, I don't think I would taste any difference here to a <20-year-old Caroni.”
