"Elegant Agricole with fruity aromas alongside the classic nut and nougat notes. Great release."

"First impression on the nose: old oak barrel, tannic acid, then more fruity notes, but also exotic notes such as cinnamon bark and green peppers. Toasted barrel/peated notes on the palate, green vegetables, caramelized sugar. I had somehow expected more, but perhaps the bottle has been open too long..."

"A great vintage agricole! Lots of wood, light caramel notes, butter cookies, roasted aromas and some mango. Overall also quite bitter and tannic. Great age and the "low" alcohol content is just right. Overall a little too much wood for my taste but still very elegant, like an old cognac!"

"This one arrived this morning from France and I am already at number two of this nice rum. The nose is nice and typical Agricole with fruits and spices. A slight wood, floral, spice and sugarcane touch to it. The palate is complex and slightly dry with a lot of fruits. There is a sweet note with an earthy, floral and pepper touch to it. Smoky oak also joins in the consecutive sips. The finish is long and lightly sweet with fruits and caramel and in the back some wood. The cognac casks they were finished in is there from the nose to the finish. "
