"Masterclass mit Alexandre Gabriel am 04.04.2024. Plantation wird Planteray. Alles in allem ein trinkbarer Rum. Für das was es beim Tasting sonst noch gab, eher im vorderen Drittel mit einzuordnen. Aber leider nicht das, wo ich unbedingt Nachschub bräuchte davon."

"Anfangs dachte ich, na ja, spanischer Stil eben, wird mir nicht viel geben. Aber dann hat mir der Rum als Starter in den Abend doch ganz gut geschmeckt. Leichte Kokosnote, die ich bei Venezuela nicht erwartet hätte, aber auch etwas scharf, Alkohol könnte also besser eingebunden sein."

"An der Nase zeigt sich der Rum leicht, süß und fruchtig. Die alkoholische Note verfliegt schnell. Am Gaumen nicht optimal eingebundener Alkohol, Früchte und Würze. Insgesamt recht leicht. Das ändert sich zum Nachklang hin. Hier trumpft der Rum mit intensiver Würze und Fassnoten. In Summe ganz passabel und geeignet um Rum aus El Salvador kennen zu lernen, nicht mehr und nicht weniger."

Finish Medium long, light wood, spices, light citrus, faint caramel, medium dry. The empty glass had very light floral notes and vanilla."
