"Very intense and inviting nose. Lemon tart comes directly to my mind. Wow, I could sniff this forever. Then explosive, spicy and slightly salty on the palate. Very nice balance of freshness and barrel influence!"
"07.05.2019 Enjoying some samples at home. Colour Light in colour. Nose Fresh, light wood, faint smoke, fruits, light mineral, light olive, light floral, spice. Palate Light, light wood, light roasted, oily, spice, light banana, faint gasoline, faint floral, faint honey. Finish Medium long, light wood, oily, spice, fruits, light floral, faint caramel."
"Wow, nice Guyana profile in the nose spicy fruity with light alcohol. In the mouth then spicy, salty with typical herbal and tea notes. I can taste a piece of the barrel ;) Alcohol super integrated nice spicy finish Delicious!"
"The nose is greedy and pastry! We have a beautiful burnt sugar pie with fruitiness galore (plum, raisin, candied fruit ...). The whole is perfectly balanced and harmonious. In mouth, we are less on fruits (except cherry) but more on spices with a more earthy and salty profile. And we find smoked notes! The finish is fine on spices and woody with a touch of saltiness. My faith it is fresh and light, but I preferred the 2008 10 Y to this 2003 14 Y. Even if it remains a nice reference."
