The anniversary edition in the Wild Series just tastes good - first a little round and soft in taste and rounds off with a contrast of a little bit of sharpness, which fits well.
Rum Friendly Club Advent Calendar, Day 16. A vegetal nose (dried herbs and medicinal plants), fruits (banana and dried fruits). Varnished cedar wood, present but not overpowering. The palate is soft and balanced on entry, then the aromas develop with the same flavors as on the nose, but the wood is much more pronounced. The alcohol is perfectly integrated. The finish is long, with bitter cedar wood, floral notes and fruit.

14.12.2023 Retasting this one and I still really like the balance and elegance it has. Nose Wood, light roasted, light apple, clove, dried fruit, faint floral, light caramel. Palate Balance, light wood, faint smoke, dried fruit, spice, light caramel clove, light floral, light cognac, medium spicy. Finish Medium to long, fresh, light wood, dried fruit, spice, light caramel, medium spicy, light grass. Needs to rest for a good while to really open up properly. ---------------------- #4411 Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 Notes. Well balanced with nice roasted wood. Dried fruit with spices and a light polish note and some licorice. There is a nice natural sweetness to it.
