“Wohl ein Vertreter, der seinem großen Namen nicht gerecht wird. Sehr geradlinig und wenig komplex, was wohl auf die Verdünnung und das junge Alter zurückzuführen ist. Während die Nase immerhin noch eine scharfe und pflanzliche Note bereithält, enttäuscht der Gaumen vollends. Die charakteristischen Noten sind hauptsächlich in Form von verbrannten Gummi vorhanden, aber doch auch nur schwach ausgeprägt.”

“Lots of ash/mineral/rock/sand in the nose. A bit of paint thinner. Dry. A bit of fruit pops through (apple/apricot). It's subtle but definitely a Caroni. Some diesel. Sadly low in ABV% but with the right glass there's enough to discover; Like an old whisky. Taste more like a 15y than a 6y old rum.”
