"This is a piece of history and of course I had to try it once possible and straight out of the belly of the beast. Lightly fruity wit roasted wood and some licorice. Complex and very well balanced rum. Great ABV integration."
"This is rum history for a change. From the bottle of René's rarities. It's empty now!Nose: beautiful and complex. Old, dusty, charred attic floorboards, malty roasty with some tobacco, also some old furniture polish. But also dark fruit, plum and grape with a touch of apricot. A slightly resinous freshness and then immediately earthy root. Spicy with maggi and cocoa powder and some licorice.Palate: spicy-woody, malty and toasty with a slightly salty umami note. Tobacco again and something earthy and spicy. Clearly also the polish, herbs and nutmeg.N:89 G:84 historic:95"
GRF in Berlin. Unglaublich geiles Erlebnis. Unvergesslich!"
