How does this rum taste?
The Demerara Rum Solera No.14 2019 is crafted at Guyana's Demerara Distillers Ltd and bottled by Rum Nation. This molasses-based rum, aged for a year and utilizing pot and column stills, presents a rich olfactory experience with intense fruity, dark chocolate, and vanilla notes. On the palate, dark chocolate, dried fruits, and woody undertones dominate. Reviews vary, praising its complex aroma and approachability for beginners, while some critique its reduced body and taste. With an ABV of 40%, this rum is appreciated as a daily sipper and a good value purchase on platforms like RumX, a renowned marketplace and review site.

Retasting and I stick to the points previously given. Today we had another tasting with a few surprises in store. Price to quality is very good.
My disappointment of today. Except for the added sugar there is not much body or taste in my opinion. Maybe it‘s just watered down to much
Very solid daily Sipper Demerara! The wood ans alcohol is integrated very well. This I can recommend to each one who is starting the adventure into the world of rum, due it’s very large amount of various notes/tastes and readily accesibility
