Colore davvero bello e scuro. Al naso è molto affascinante e profumato con note di frutti rossi, fragole, fiori, vino rosso, sherry, legno verniciato, burro, zucchero bruciato e dopo aver arieggiato anche cuoio, lieve arrostito e cioccolato. Al palato è corposo e leggero, nonostante dimostri più gradi, con note di caramello, fiori, prugne leggermente acerbe, datteri, vino rosso e nel finale medio-corto cioccolato, spezie e liquirizia. Il gusto è in linea con l'epoca, ma si difende molto bene, una bella sorpresa. Nel bicchiere vuoto sherry, porto, cuoio e stagionati/arrostito. Il voto oscilla tra 8 e 8.1.
